Thomas Bersez

Scientific Project Manager

Thomas discovered bioinformatics during his bachelor’s studies in biostatistics and molecular biology. He was captivated by the field and went on to pursue a master’s degree in bioinformatics at the University of Paris-Saclay. After completing his studies, Thomas joined our company in 2019 as part of the R&D team, working on the EU’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) program. Following his MSCA stint, he spent a year as a data analysis manager at a Paris-based precision medicine startup before rejoining our team in December 2023.

When not developing and maintaining our NGS data analysis pipelines, Thomas is likely to be deeply engaged in data science or enjoying jazz music.
