Sofia Ylihärsilä

Business Development Manager

Sofia has a Master's degree in bioinformatics from Tampere University. She has expertise both in biotechnology laboratory work and in computational biology. Sofia completed an exchange semester at ETH Zürich in Switzerland. The academic research world is very close to her heart, but she is also very motivated to be involved in the life science business world.

As a business development manager, she is part of the pre-sales team. Sofia enjoys finding out what kind of bioinformatics needs research groups and companies have. She is also genuinely interested in the work that is done by the customers, and wants to follow the latest developments in biotechnology and life science fields.
