Genevia’s tech team grows with two new project managers

We are happy to announce that our team has grown by two expert bioinformaticians! To ensure we can best meet our clients’ needs also in the future, two new scientific project managers have started their journey at Genevia Technologies.

Maria Liivrand brings broad experience in transcriptomics analysis to serve our current and future clients as effectively as possible. Maria holds a doctoral degree in biology, with a focus in molecular and systems biology. Throughout her ten years career in academia, she has been working as a hybrid researcher, knowing her way around both the wet lab and bioinformatics experiments.

Our other new team member, Jelena telenius holds a doctorate degree in applied physics and is seasoned in bioinformatics software development. Being able to speak fluent physics and mathematics in addition to biology, she complements our team with another new skill set. She has seven years of experience with academic research among bioinformatics, and for the past year, she has worked in an international health technology corporation.

We warmly welcome both of them to Genevia Technologies – getting new highly-skilled bioinformatics experts is definitely the best Christmas present our team could ever have hoped for!
