Problem

Mylab Oy was preparing to extend their proprietary Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to support omics data.

Solution

We educated the staff at Mylab with an information package on current sequencing technologies. In addition, we included practical suggestions for development of their system architecture towards supporting large omics data sets.

Outcome

The Mylab data team now has all the necessary information on key technologies (as well as expected challenges) that will allow them to make more informed decisions as regards how to extend their platform.
